Chapter 6 - Asking Her Out On Her Birthday

Soon, it was my first bookout. It was the first time I'm going back to the island of Singapore after three weeks in Tekong. Coming back to the city is surely a great feeling. I can go to Orchard and see gals again. But deep down inside me, there's only a gal in my heart. She was Ada.

Her birthday would be reaching in a few weeks time and I decided to ask her out on that day to celebrate it with her. I need no time to find a birthday present because I had bought a necklace a few months ago. I never had the chance to give it to her last time, so I decided to give it on her birthday.

Weeks passed by and her birthday was just a week away. I went out with my friends the day before to Orchard to buy a birthday cake. I even requested to write her name on the cake! Everything was prepared and ready. I just had to wait for her to say yes to meet me.

The answer she gave me was short and simple. She agreed and we even decide to meet at Orchard! It could not have been a better place, cause I had to collect my cake there on the day itself.

This is gonna be the first time I'm celebrating a birthday for her Never would I expect, this first time was also gonna be the last time as well...
