Chapter 8 - That Fate-Less Departure

All good times had to come to an end and soon we had to part. After giving her the birthday present, she said she's going to meet her parents for dinner. It's also about time for me to prepare to book in already. Thus, we had to end our day.

We separated at the Bus Interchange, where we took different buses home. What's going to happen next is something you may say only happen in movies, but you're wrong. It happened in my true story...

Soon after Ada boarded her bus, my bus also came. Ironically, both of our buses will take the same path to the main road. I was sitting in my bus when the traffic light turned red. As I turned to my right, her bus came and stopped beside mine! I saw her inside the bus! I waved and shouted, but obviously she couldn't hear me. I can't believe that, although the distance between us is just a few metres, she just couldn't see me. The green light came and our buses went left and right respectively. I was stunned and lost for words. After that, I just had this gut feeling that maybe she and I were not meant to be. I really hope I'm wrong, but I'm not.....

Never would I expect, that was the last time I was to see Ada again. Why? Things never turn out the way I wanted anymore. Our fate just ended unexpectedly.
