As you may have seen from previous pages on my site, I'm addicted to recording. Thus, I have set this page up as a base for trading the numerous recordings that grace my collection. I have a reasonably large collection of music in my personal collection - 1000 Cd's, 500 Vinyl LP's, 3-400 Cassette Tapes and 60-70 Minidiscs.

However, I do not trade MP3 files or discs of MP3. The format is bloody awful to be honest and I want no part of it.

WHAT FORMAT's DO I TRADE?

I trade recordings in the following formats:

CD-R

Minidisc

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I DUB WITH?

Here is the list of the recording equipment that I use for everyday recording:

Rotel RDD980 Transport
Rotel RDP980 DAC
Pioneer PDR-04 Cd-Recorder (modified for Pro Discs!)
SONY MDS-JA30ES Minidisc Recorder

General rules

All trading is based on MiniDiscs / CD-R with the capacity of 74 minutes, recorded from a digital source, this means with a digital input. All tracks should be divided, and a track list should be included where possible.
In case of "Same Same" you will send me a MiniDisc with electronically titled track, I will do so in return. On some recordings with very short running times you will find some bonus tracks, so you get the full 74 minutes of music.
In case of "one for you, one for me" I will title all tracks and will expect the same in return.
Titles recorded on Minidisc have SCMS (thank you Sony) so only analogue copies are possible. The recordings are still of a very high quality, I never noticed any audible difference compared to digital recordings.
Postage: You pay postage from you to me, and I will pay the return postage (please bear in mind the fact that I live in the UK). Isn't this fair?
I always trade for personal entertainment, NEVER for profit!

Please don't ask me to trade my originals! I haven't spent years collecting it all to just trade it away, sorry.
I do not spin for free so don't ask. If you have nothing to trade then i'm not interested, bugger off!
