Strategy and Planning: 

-The role of the Corporate Management Team is to maintain the financial records of the business and to provide financial advice to other departments of Management. 

To determine an amount of debt finance (debentures) to cover cash flow problems. 
To take any available opportunity of high interest, and invest an appropriate amount of bank term deposits. 

-To determine an appropriate dividend that shareholders will receive in contrast to what the goals and objectives of the company are. 

-To monitor employee productivity levels and decide of appropriate strategies, along with the operations group as to why / why aren't we producing enough, how can we fix this problem?, can we afford to give an employee bonus (if deserved), so as to keep a high employee morale. 

Justification for decisions (major): 

-Factory workers gained a bonus in the second year of take-over. To both congratulate them on their past years performance and encourage and show them that hard work is rewarded at natex. 

-Towards the end of our second year we made a term deposit of $2 500 000. Due to our increasing profits and the fact that interest rates were favourable at the time we decided that this was a feasible option that would help the company in the future. 

-We raised our dividends because of our increasing profit margins. This decision was made so promote confidence in the market for the current and future prospects of the business and for our shareholders. 

-Towards the end of the second year, management and employee salaries were upgraded to reward a great effort of all areas, and hopefully to spur the team on to greater things. 

All of our decisions occurred after extensive deliberation between all areas that would be affected by a certain decision so as to see what the consequences would be across the board, not just in individual sectors. We feel that this decision making process has been a major contributing factor to the past, current and what is looking what is looking  to be  future success our company.
