This page is dedicated to the Belum Forest Reserved. There were signs that this forest may be logged and MNS is naturally concerned. The forest is reported to be declared a State Nature Park.
This is a collection of insects images by Mr Michael Yeh, one of our members with special interest in this area. Additional images were added in June and July 1999.	Dugong (sea cow) news. A series of dugong deaths off the coast of Johor soon after the capture and release of a baby dugong spurred national  interest in this animal. We feel that this interest should be perpuated. We have collected news and information on this endangered animal.

Laurence Poh's Digiscoping website. This is Laurence's website dedicated to Digiscoping of birds. He started photographing birds using digital camera through the eyepiece of his birding scope in 1999. He is now nicknamed 'Father of Digicsoping'. Visit his website and see his excellent collection of bird picture.	Cheang Kum Seng's Gallery. This is a collection of photos from the veteran photographer who had given numerous talks for MNS. His talks had never failed to impress. So are his photos. He is now a freelance photographer.
Dr Chan Kai Soon's photo album. This is the bird's photo album by Dr Chan Kai Soon. These are captured from videos taken with MiniDv camcorders through birding scopes.	A trip to Zoo Melaka to visit Adek, the rescued tapir. Herman Bernard reports on the tapir which was rescued by fishermen along the Straits of Melaka, near Pulau Pisang, Johore.
