Herman confesses to the boys that he was cheating on Margaret - he
kissed the ice-cream woman - and now with her returning from Greece
gets a feeling of guilt. But only until Margaret confesses (first)
that she kissed a Greek man. Accidentally, Wood first lets slip out
Herman's secret to Margaret and later also Harlan's sidestep which
makes Merleen angry. With even Herman and Harlan having weak moments,
it's not a far cry until Wood's itegrity is questioned because he sure
has had enough oppurtunities during his playing days to cheat on Ava.

Herman by chance watches the cafeteria woman putting aside food and
selling it. Thinking this could be a big story he incognito (he's
afraid of the woman's son) informs Evan. The story hits - especially
Ava who's been after the culprits for months. All she needs now is
the informant as a witness. But Evan refuses, referring to his
journalistic itegrity, to hand out 'Deep Pudding's' identity - and
Ava has no chance as to put him into jail. And after Wood lets slip
out that he knows the man too - but also refuses to tell a name -
joins Evan in the cell.

inherits one million dollar - under the condition that he fulfills
all of Stonewall's assignments described in five envelopes. They are
tough but Wood is no chicken nor chick, is he ?

abilities in the meantime. Herman gets a job as painter - park
banks that is - only to find out that Nab is doing the job better
and faster.

It's Wood and Ava's 20th wedding anniversary and since they never

pre-wedding party it's a stripper - not at the boys' party (which fails
miserably) but at the girls' party - who puts Wood into a bad mood.

in contact with other mayors and try to find a solution.

It's a bad day for the mayor and the person Wood. First he learns that

Falcons and making big money - leaving him with doubts since most of
his comrades have done something out of them while he himself became
a nobody and is stuck with people asking him for little favors all
the time. And one of those favors is directing Emily's school play
of 'The Three Little Pigs'. Bad day - until in the evening he gets a
call from Jumpbag who's offering him the job as the Quarterback head
coach with the Falcons. Herman coaches the quiz-team which made it
into the finals.

after he takes on the job and hits it off with Stephanie. Will has
something he'd like to get rid of - a bully. Wood's advices consist
basically of hitting while Ava insists on the talking way.

Fontana has problems with Merleen when Merleen spends more time with
Scout than her and does the things she actually wants to to with Scout.

sprayed an 'I love Molly' on the water tower, visible for the whole
town. Ava urges Wood to remove this, which sounds easy but that's up
high and Wood has fear of heights.

Tony Lombardi shows up in Evening Shade. He was once shortly married

Frieda thinks so who still has feelings for Tony (the only one of all
her ex-husbands). And he indeed wants to marry again - but not Frieda.
He is in Evening Shade to get his grandmother's ring back which he
has given Frieda back then ...
