David Bryan is a young struggling computer video games disigner. Once a
week he also helps out and plays with the kids in the nearby orphanage.
His best friends there are the siblings Zana and L.J. Now after three
years Mrs. Payton, the head of the orphanage, has found a family who
wants to adopt Zana - only Zana, without her brother. This is something
David wants to prevent, seperating the kids, as they only have each
other and nothing more. After a weekend together David's decision is
certain: he wants to take the both kids. So the kids move in, his
friend Clarence, who shares the apartment with him, has to move out.

sister and getting a more or less real dad himself, who makes up
certain rules and tells what to do, is a situation not easy to
accept for L.J.
