* Don't let these
"macros" (taken with a +4 closeup lens)
fool you about the size.
Actual size of the Acara(?) some 5 cm long (2").
The little Poecilias(?) are
some 3 cm long or just over 1").

Most photos are of the larger (?)Acara. The other
is shy and hard to photograph. I don't hassle my
fish.
(There are two small crayfish in the tank
as well. Same rule. Some day
they will let me photograph them.)

You have to look at a lot of pics to see
the whole fish. One shot gets the tail,
another the ventral fins, and so on...
The last picture shows the gold and black of
one of the "wild guppies" (the
gold is actually not quite so intense).
(SORRY about the trash on the scanner
glass...)
