Pukalani is part of "Upcountry Maui" at about 1,500 feet above sea level. It's on the north slope of 10,023' Haleakala, and is the home of The City Of Maui's offices.

Haleakala (Hah-ley-ah-kah-lah) is the World's largest dormant volcano, which last erupted a little over 200 years ago. Pukalani is also the home of our mayor, Keoni Wiliki and The Amazing Penny, not to mention our World Famous "Puka-Cam", providing visitors a snapshot of current Maui weather conditions as seen through Mayor Wiliki's plumeria trees, over his neighbor's roof, and northward toward the island of Moloka'i - The Friendly Isle.
