"Aloha" is likely one of the most overused, yet least understood words in the Hawaiian language. Still, its spirit remains alive, more so on Hawaii's "neighbor" islands - Ni'ihau, Kaua'i, Lana'i, the Big Island of Hawai'i, and of course, Maui . . . "The Valley Isle." On one occasion it was explained to my complete satisfaction by a dear friend, one of Maui's cherished elders, Hana's then-96-year-old Alice Lum Ho, who spoke nothing but her native Hawaiian until she was about fourteen years of age, "The word 'Aloha' is really three words, loosely combined into one. 'A' (ah)...enlightening, 'lo' (loh)...face-to-face, and 'ha' (hah)...the breath of life." This unique state of mind seems to have recently all but eluded the island of O'ahu, "The Gathering Place," with its nearly one million fast-paced, competitive inhabitants.
We spent a long time and a lot of money preparing Maui's first Favorite Web site. What's more, we are called by some of the more important and prestigious Maui businesses, the first, the finest, and the most comprehensive site available to them, not to mention an unsurpassed value. We're genuinely driven first by "Aloha" and "Kokua" ("Helping" in Hawaiian) than the often less gratifying, monetary rewards. We figure if we place our sincere motives first, the rewards will follow.

Who are we? We're a unique team with a special brand of synergy which freely radiates from a beautifully matched pair. First, the "better half" - The Amazing Penny - is a fourth-generation Maui wahine (woman) with family roots dating back to the late 19th century, when Maui was still a vital part of the Kingdom of Hawai'i, under her last reigning monarch, the beloved Queen Lili'uokalani.
The other half of this dynamic team brings us nearly 40 years of sales and marketing, advertising and public relations expertise. During the past 12 years, these skills have been focused on, and successfully honed primarily through involvement in the local media, right here on Maui.
