Cadiz, Spain
What a nice little town. There are tours that will take you out of town, but we opted to
take the walking tour in town on our own. There is supposed to be a red line painted on
the street to follow, but it's kind of worn off with time. With the little map they give
you it's easy to figure out. Lot of shopping, the shops there, as the other ports of call
are not what I expected. I do mostly the Caribbean and there they have straw markets where
you buy different tourists stuff as well as the local things. Over
there, it's more like little individual jewelry stores, clothes stores, cafes, and such.
You can still haggle with them some and it was fun window shopping. If you like to eat and
drink, there are little cafes everywhere, at least two to a block it seemed. There didn't
seem to be any cell phone stores, in Lisbon there was one at least every third store in
the area around our hotel, any direction you looked, you could see at least a half a dozen
people talking on there cell phones. In Cadiz there was a lot of hustle and bushel, but
fewer cell phones. We had the best time feeding the pigeons at one of the fountains.
