The morning greeted us with a pretty good rain.   The weather forecast said that it would clear off by noon.  It was still raining at 3:30 PM when we left the island.  Before we left, we did a little shopping and had lunch.  We got pretty wet running from store to store.

We're back in Mackinaw City tonight and we'll take off in the morning for southern Michigan.

	A rainy morning on Mackinac Island.  It rained pretty steady for the four hours we were running around.
	Even the horses had to contend with the rain.
	This picture was taken from Mackinaw City looking back toward the island.  The rain had not cleared the island when this picture was taken.
	As the day progressed, the rain cleared and it turned into a beautiful Sunday afternoon.  This is a picture of the island from our hotel room balcony.
	Adam took advantage of the inclimate weather to get some reading done.
