An Australian's Journey to America

This site is currently under construction and will eventually contain a rather extensive diary-type account of my trip to the USA back in 1992, along with a myriad of photographs and other bits and pieces.

I spent eight weeks travelling around the south-west states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and Nevada visiting among other things Monument Valley (my favourite destination) as well as the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Mono Lake, Tortilla Flat, the Painted Desert, Disneyland and many, many other wonderful places.

Currently the text is about 80% complete so there's plenty to read. I haven't yet added many of the graphics but most images should be up by the end of December 1999 when I shouldn't be quite as busy at work. Scanning them all is an exhaustive task!
