Despite
all my hopeful expectations, the weather remained gloomy. I wondered if
the pool would ever hold laughing children, or if it would just remain
a very lovely prop.
But
the weather didn't inhibit the fans much. Today they cranked up the mechanical
surfboard, which is an interesting variant on the mechanical bull. And
when they crank it up, it bucks just as wildly.
