1998 Swatch King of the Beach Invitational Event Guidelines

I. Eligibility and Format

Eligibility

The top 14 ranked AVP players will be eligible to participate. If one or more of the top 14 players do not enter the event, the next highest ranked players(s) will be eligible to participate. General Format The Swatch King of the Beach Invitational will be a three day round robin competition where each individual player will continually switch partners and accumulate overall points and prize money based on the number of games won. The player with the most points at the end of the event will be crowned the Swatch King of the Beach. Teams consist of two players. All games will entail sideout scoring, a nine minute clock, and will be played to 15 points win by two or to the expiration of the clock win by two. If a team reaches 15 points without a two point margin, or if the clock expires and there is not a two point margin, the game will continue until a two point margin is attained.
