Saturday's exhibition match pitted locals Dave Counts and Said Souikani, both of San Diego against the WCOV's Ricky Nielsen from Dallas and Titus Humphrey from St. Croix in a ten-minute timed game. The locals fell behind 1-4 at the first break. After the side switch, a sideout and three ace serves by Dave Counts brought it to 4-4. Both teams put on a great exhibition with jump serves all around and high-flying blocks by WCOV's Ricky Nielsen and Dave Counts. |

The locals pulled out a 6-4 advantage before time ran out on the match. Without the clock,, this had the makings of an epic struggle. Congratulations to all these guys. They were outstanding. |
