If wishes were wings,
All Pern would fly
and dragons would
fill the skies
Well, I've taken the leap to grab a domain name. Now I just need the time necessary to develop the site into something I'm gonna be happy with. You can see what happening with The Harper's Window v2.0 (you're lookin' at v1.3 now :P ) at www.HarpersWindow.com. I cordially invite you to take a look at what little I've done and yell at me to get off my can and finish it.
Before we start,
a rant about copyrights in general
and the world of Pern and the art featured here in particular.
The
guestbook is new! The old responses have been turned into
a FAQ for your reading pleasure. The new one is up and running.
Take a moment to tell me you dropped in, wont you?
I've always been fascinated by stained glass. Churches, Tiffany,
Frank Lloyd Wright, old architectural features, you name it. No
matter where I am, I stop and gawk like a tourist. So when I had
the opportunity togather together art based on Pern, I didn't
have to think hard about what I wanted the site to look like.
You'll not find any archives here of Michael Whelan's cover art,
or the portraits of Robin Wood. These are strictly fandom characters,
created by fans, and will remain so. In the future I'd like to
expand to include the work of other fan artists who enjoy Anne
McCaffrey's Pern.
Badge project- WeyrLeaders/Councils:
Got a club badge? I'm collecting them as links to the fannish community.
I've not forgotten you if you've contacted me, but I've donated
my mind to matrimony and as soon as RL settles down again I'll be
back in the swing. StarStorm Weyr: Your e-mail had no badge image
attached! Please re-send.
I see that visitors have stopped by to peek in my window. Last updated

I generally don't put banners on my front page. For this gallery, however,
I'll make the exception. It's the home of many hopeful amateur artists
like myself
who seek the constructive criticism of their peers to grow and learn
as they work. It's one of my favorite places on the 'net.
