I've been developing for Intranets for over four years. Intranet 2 is the result of four years experience in what I've discovered an Intranet needs in order to be successful in a company. A content, user, and security system is a must in any successful Intranet. Additional functionallity included in this project are a messaging system, calendar system, reporting system, user-customizable favorites system, and a user-customizable home page.

All of the above mentioned is powered by Windows 2000 Server, Internet Information Server 5, Cold Fusion 5 Server (CFML), and SQL Server 2000 (Transact-SQL). Not to mention many client-side languages like HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, Dynamic HTML (DHTML) using DOM, XML, some ActiveX object calls and a lot of SQL Stored Procedures and User-Defined Functions.
