The following is a list of tools and materials needed to complete these projects. I'll try to be as comprehensive as possible and will indicate suggested items with an asterisk ( * ).
Wood
½ " Birch or Poplar plywood* (grips)
¼ " Luan plywood* (core)
1" x 4" Pine, Poplar, or hardwoods ( hub)
¾ " Plywood (finished both sides) (hub / wheel and pedal bases)
¾ " Composition board (hub / wheel and pedal bases)
( These are suggested "types" of wood that can be substituted with whatever suits your needs. Note: Plywood normally comes in 4 x 8 ft. sheets, but many home improvement centers offer ½ or ¼ sheets for your convenience. )
