Stefano Tovagliari's Simulator

My friend from Italy, Stefano Tovagliari, built this simulator which has some very interesting features. Stefano is an engineering student who has put his training to good work by adding several touches to his simulator including; feedback to the seat via a woofer, feedback to the wheel, a lift-type piston to the brake pedal for a more realistic "brake feel", and a wonderful bearing assembly for his pedals. In addition, he used a real rally seat that's adjustable and a cart wheel that gives one the impression of a "Momo".

Stefano is interested in adding more feedback to his creation, namely, movement to the seat. I turned him on to Walt Ottenad's use of air ram tubes for this function, and it remains to be seen how things will evolve. Judging by Stefano's progress so far, I'm sure that he'll come up with some very interesting results. I will surely update this remarkable guy's progress as I receive it. If you would like to contact him for more information about his simulator, or if you'd just like to let him know how much you like his work , click here to e-mail. Stefano has established his own webpage where you can see his new simulator. This one is even more spectacular than the first, which is hard to believe, but go there and see for yourself. He's installed a conversion for the Sony playstation and many other extras! Check it out - "Tova's Home Page"
