Ferryhill Comprehensive Makes Headlines!!
The Ferryhill Flyers programme made the
papers this week (10/8/98). Below is the article;
This is your school
JUNIOR
schoolchildren are taking part in a summer school initiative to introduce
them to life at Ferryhill Comprehensive School.
The
five junior schools in the area have nominated 32 11-year-olds who are
due to go to the Comprehensive next term, to take part in the Ferryhill
Flyers scheme.
They
will help to draw up a brochure introducing the school, to be distributed
among this autumn's intake of 170 pupils. Other events include art classes,
a magic show and a visit to Sunderland AFC's Stadium of Light. |
