Benjamin Wang
Ben and I go way back; 1st grade, high school, now college. We listen to modern rock ("popularly" known as alternative)--in fact, he got me in to modern rock back in '89, starting with the landmark album, Tears for Fears' Songs from the Big Chair, and we both waste time on the computer and on the guitar. We know each other too well, finishing each other's sentences. He lived in my apartment and went with me to the Boingo concert mentioned later. Now, we both own our own houses and still go to concerts every once in a while, like, oh, Spin Doctors, The Cranberries, weezer, Gin Blossoms, The Cardigans, U2 PopMart, Sarah McLachlan, TMBG at Street Scene, Dido, U2 Vertigo, Moby, Coldplay, and dM Touring the Angel.

Jim Froumis / Froumis Family Web Site
Jim is the Danny Elfman fan; we both listen to his movie compositions as well as those of other movie composers, and we both went to the Boingo concert in SDSU 20 Oct 1995! Big fan of rap and techno, too (go fig!). He also rules in graphics (hence his nickname Pixel Wizard)! He went to UC San Diego with me for undergrad and now has his own family and lives near us.

Justin's Home Page
(old, non-working link (someone else's site now))
Justin and I really go back since the day, well, he was born. Our dads were in the same fraternity in the Philippines, Upsilon Sigma Phi. The frat brods ("fraternity brothers") here host a lot of events around the Bay Area. We've had lots of fun going to these all our lives. He went to UC Irvine, and now works as Music Director for Beach Blanket Babylon in SF. He's also one of Timmy's Godfathers.

Rick and Debra Carino / Carino Consulting
I've known Rick since 9th grade, but have only spoken (non-electronically) once in four years. Finally, we've made actual audio contact via a long-distance call to Brookline, MA, his residence for Boston University. We've had, well...interesting memories from high school, most to do with classes like English and Geometry and Pascal and lunches with volleyball and stuff.
Now he and his wife Debra live and teach in Oregon and have the consulting service on the side. We met up again at our 10-year high school reunion, so I finally got the new home page link and info.

Bob Kleemann (at LiveJournal)
Bob and I go back since the summer of '93, the time of the release of U2's Zooropa, at a summer UCSD program. We each have the entire U2 and dM album collections (separately, not combined!). Yet another modern rock enthusiast, and also went to the Boingo concert with me, as well as depeche mode in Glen Helen, They Might Be Giants, Gin Blossoms, U2 PopMart, Sarah McLachlan, TMBG at Street Scene, dM at SDSU, Dido, and dM Touring the Angel. Since he's such a dM fan, I wrote a dM parody about him during the time when I actually had some creative substance and, more critically, time.

Claire Camaclang / Claire's Room
Claire and I go back all the way to when she was born. That's probably because she's my little sister! She likes a lot of the stuff I like in movies (sci-fi and comedy), music (New Order, Pet Shop Boys, U2), and stage (especially Phantom), as well as anime and original Star Trek. She just started making her home on the Web, so here it is. She's at UC Riverside, finishing up her degree in Film Studies.

"Missing persons file", or "Where are they now?"
Although I've reconnected with some friends at my 10-year (argh!) high school reunion, I've still lost touch with some high school friends as well as some college friends. Hopefully they find their names here using a Google search or whatever. If you want to contact me back, you know where to find me: Michael Palad (a.k.a. Michelangelo Palad or Mike Palad), William Ing (a.k.a. Will Ing), Gabriel Riopel (a.k.a. Gabe Riopel), Saphian Kono (a.k.a. Saph Kono), Raymond Uytingco (a.k.a. Ray Uytingco).
The parenthesized names are for maximizing search engine hit probability.
