"Here we go," you say. The lift doors slide open.
"Let's go, a single unit," Williams says.
You and the group head out of the lift. As you run down the length of the Cargo Bay, you can see the Al'slkrati Kagaa, Lothair's stolen Tal'adaar'aan ship. You can see no gangway that would let anybody go aboard. Williams gives the signal, and everyone heads toward the ship. You and the group weave through the cargo crates, until you reach a row of giant cargo crates. You wonder what's inside, but you don't have the time to find out. Suddenly, a hand grabs you from behind!
You feel your entire weight leave the floor, and a hand covers your mouth.
"Don't make any trouble," a voice says, "Or I blow your brains out." It has to be Lothair's voice. You feel the emission node of the laser pistol press up against your head.
Then you hear Captain Williams' voice:
"Shawn! Where are you!"
You hear Muldoon:
"We lost Shawn back there beside the APE storage containers!"
"We're goin' back," Williams says.
"I can still use you to buy me some time," Lothair says.
Your mind is racing, as you try to think of ways to stop Lothair. You come up with three choices, and none of them sound too easy, or safe. But you have to try, or Lothair will get away with murder, not just the killing he committed when he took over the Farragut, but he may kill you too!
Williams, Muldoon, and the other Spacers step around the corner a few moments later.
"Let Shawn go,"
Williams insists.
Do you wait, and hope Williams will convince Lothair to let you go?
Do you try to elbow Lothair in the stomach and break free?
Do you try to pinch Lothair's carotid artery and break free?
