A Short History Of equis

equis were formed in 1999 by stuart(drums). stuart's previous band was then called jade and had darius danesh on vox/guitar and ant clarke on guitar. however darius left to go to edinburgh and has since been singing continuously in various circumstances.
being singerless, stuart then called his old singer from 3 years back, rebo, to replace darius. this was fine but suggestions were made and, in possibly the worst handled firing of all time, ant "moved on". he was replaced by ian "riff beast" pascall, rebo's old guitarist from his struggling(and mostly drummerless)metal band.
the two then went on to join baps(bass)and stuart and start writing some songs.
equis began to come together but were still playing as individuals, not as a group. this was to change with the advent of one particular song, "some mother's son".
