A shroud of blue surrounds me
and pain consumes my being.
So while I grieve, please pardon me
I’ve lost a dear and close friend.

This friend has not deceased
but the close bond has died.
The inflection of pain upon her
I never meant to cause.

My soulfriend, I’ll deeply miss you
A lover and companion, you were not.
We held something much deeper
A shared bond of true understanding, it was.
My beautiful blonde friend, please forgive me.
