Winds Of Destiny

Riding on the winds of time, a spirit wandering free
No great expectations just enjoying life and dreams
Playing at the game of love didn't seem to mean a thing
Just looking towards the future and whatever fate might bring

Living an existence that was neither vain nor full
             Never knew an emptiness till the winds blew me to you
            Destiny came knocking then on my heart's hidden door
               And to your love it opened as it never had before

We were just two lonely riders on the winds of destiny
             Bound for new horizons with each shifting of the breeze
         By chance the winds of fortune smiled and blew your love to me
                Now we ride the winds together ... into eternity ...

We were so very different ... yes, we were worlds apart
But rhyme and reasons don't exist when love has touched your heart
Though gales and tempests blow at times, we ride out every storm
And realize with each new breeze a flame of love reborn
