HTML CODES

Here are some codes that can be used
within the body of your web page

HTML Tag
Function
<P> (This code does not require a closing tag) Starts a new paragraph. Leaves one line of space between two lines.
<BR> (This code does not require a closing tag) Starts a new line.  Is used in place of the return (enter) key.  Will not leave any space between lines.
<center>   </center> Can be used in place of the <P> code to place more than one line of space between two lines.
<B> . . . . </B> Adds bold formatting to the text
<i> . . . . </i> Adds italic formatting to the text
<u> . . . . </u> Adds underline formatting to the text
<SMALL> . . . . </SMALL> Makes the text small
<BIG> . . . . </BIG> Makes the text big
<SUP> . . . . </SUP> Adds a superscript format to the text
<SUB> . . . . </SUB> Adds a subscript format to the text
<BLINK> . . . . </BLINK> Makes your text Blink (Currently works in Netscape 3.0 or higher, and in MSIE 4.0 or higher)

<font color="#FFFF00"> . . . . </font> on a black background on a white background
<font color="#66FFFF"> . . . . </font> on a black background on a white background
<font color="#FF0000"> . . . .</font> on a black background on a white background
<font color="#008040"> . . . . </font> on a black background on a white background
<font color="#000080"> . . . . </font> on a black background on a white background
<font color="#000000"> . . . . </font> on a white background
<font color="#808080"> . . . . </font> on a black background on a white background
<font color="#8000FF"> . . . . </font> on a black background on a white background
<font color="#408080"> . . . . </font> on a black background on a white background
<font color="#C0C0C0"> . . . . </font> on a black background on a white background
<font color="#FF0080"> . . . . </font> on a black background on a white background
<font color="#00FF00"> . . . . </font> on a black background on a white background


The following code will change the size of your text:

<font size=6> This is a 6 pt font </font>

You can replace the number 6 with any size that you wish your text to be.
  The larger the number, the larger the text will appear.


The following codes are used for titles on your page to add emphasis
