 Other | This is the section of the site where I talk about stuff other than art. I have many other interests including my children and my husband. I have four fish tanks (hoping to get more!), a cat and I love to garden. I may post pictures here of my family, my pets and my plants. The past two weeks I've been working on my yard, I decided to combine all three of my greatest hobbies (gardening, fishkeeping and painting) into one and put in a pond! I plan on painting alot of pictures this summer of my little koi pond. 550 gallons! One of my favorite paintings was "Mr. Kellers Koi Pond", I took a photo of the pond at the garden center I used to live next to. It was the only painting that was accepted by the gallery who thought the rest of my work was "too rural". So now I'll have my own pond to paint! And enjoy, and tend to, and I'm so thrilled. It still has alot of work to do, Saturday, I ripped out the old square railroad ties, Sunday I dug and installed the pond, and the last two days I've been building the surrounding bed. I hope to plant it tonight. Here's a couple before and afters, I'll take more once the plants come in too. Before  After  And here it is, all grown in.
