Sketchbook In an effort to stimulate artistic growth and improve my skills, I've decided to get back to basics and do some pencil sketches as well as pastels. As I used images taken from magazines and cataloges, these are not available for sale, but are simply to refocus my attentions to light, shadow and form. As an artist, it's necessary for one to be able to critique themselves and I've found that one of the areas I'm lacking is with lighting and individual form. I'll get back to painting soon, but I'd like to do a few more drawings as well, so I expect I'll be adding to this page.     |
