Tips and performance upgrades
TIPS

1.Use a body clip on some gear covers if you want fast and easy gear maintenance.

2.If you want to pop some great wheelies put your electronics in the back. But also make sure your E.S.C is getting enough air.

3.If your body scraps the ground when you pop a wheely try putting some tape on the body were it scraps.

4. If you have any left over antenna wire try using heat shrink tubing to hold it neatly to your antenna tube.

5.Always run your gas engine rich or you may overheat it.

6.Always run your slipper clutch very loose so you wont strip any gears.

7.If you run your car or truck in the mud or snow put you batteries and receiver in a balloon.

8.If you run your gas truck in the snow change air filter after every tank of gas so no melted snow will get into the engine.

9.Let your nitro car or truck cool down between each run.

10.Be resourceful, and be creative. You can try to fix a part if you cant replace it. I use tacky glue, Elmer's glue, super glue, wood glue, hot glue, electrical tape, duck tape and just about anything I can find.

11.If you get duratrax batteries with shotgun tubes and your batteries get hot cut some of it away also cut some of the shrink wrap off too.

12. To make your electric car/truck faster turn you endbell on your motor to about 15 degrees. Anymore will greatly decrease your runtimes. This is very easy to do if you have timing marks on your can. If you don't know what your doing E-mail me because if you mess up and go the wrong way you could never find were it was before so you could have short runtimes and decreased speed all at the same time. Make a mark on both the endbell and can with a marker to know how to get it back how it was so if there is no performance increase you can put it back where it was. Here is some pictures below to help you. Look closely and look at the arrows and lines I made.

     PERFORMANCE UPGRADES

1. If you can get ball bearings get them, they are a low cost upgrade that will greatly reduce friction..

2.Get a tuned pipe for your nitro engine so it can breath well and if you don't like the noise there are special pipes to keep the noise down.

3.Get a fuel filter for any off-road gas truck  so no dirt gets in the engine.

4.A lower turn motor in your electric car will greatly increase speed but be careful because it also reduces run times.

5.Get a peak charger so you will not over charge your batteries.

6.If you don't have a E.S.C {Electronic Speed Control} for your electric car get one because it increases run time, power and speed.

7.Get some high quality 2000mah or higher batteries.

8.To get better steering get a better servo. Some thing with 70 oz. of torque or more and also make sure it will work in your car/truck because there are different servos with different applications.

THERE ARE MANY MORE BUT THESE ARE THE BASIC UPGRADES TO GET IF YOU WANT SPEED AND PERFORMANCE.
