My review of the MT10M
I got my MT10M used 3 years ago and it was my first R/C truck. I loved it!! It was fast and durable. I knew than I was hooked. Now I still like the it. I like the look and its a great jump truck. It does have a loud transmission sometimes but that's no biggy because it still runs good. I do think I need to rebuild the transmission because of a loss in performance but it's been in use for over 6 years so no wonder. It is fun to try things I know cant be done with it and than the MT10M does it and good to. I like to go up steep hills with it too. I is very stable and can be sent of a jump wrong and still make it OK. It was a great starter truck for me and I still like to use it today. It has took a lot of abuse and it doesn't even show it. With good maintenance and a low turn motor this truck can do some great things. I love to pop wheelies with it. There are not many upgrades for this truck except the basics but if you look around enough you might find a great new upgrade for this truck. I do not suggest this truck if you are a skilled racer or if you love a lot of experience with R/C but its great for a beginner or someone who loves the look and durability.

Here is some modifications you can do:

1. If you want your MT10M to be more stable put on some Max ST tires they add about a 1/2 inch to each side. They also look cool. You can also use traxxas stampede tires.

2. If you want some speed get 2 pairs of smaller tires. Try Proline dirt hawgs 2, they should be good . Then get a pinion gear that is 2 or 3 teeth larger. This will improve handling and add a lot of speed. You may loss a little bit of ground clearance though. If you want the MT10M a little more race ready this is the thing to do.

Note the odd looking bed I made. I glued cardboard together
and it seems to hold up pretty good. I made this so I can put stones
and stuff in it and to see how much this truck can carry. It also makes
the truck do lots of wheelies when somethings it Another reason I did
this was to add weight over the rear axles for better traction when running in the snow.

The transmission apart

Goooooooey with grease.

A broke shock that I hot glued back together

It looks like you can put dual shocks on. Look how the two sides of the suspension arm is almost the same. For more info you can e-mail me.

This is with the transmission out.

Here was a test I did. Nothing final.
