Nitro VS Electric
Well this is a very common question and there are many different answers to it. With my experience of both Nitro and Electric I will try to answer this question for you. Well to start off I think the cost of nitro is actually lower than electric and this was one reason I wanted nitro. I also think electric is a little bit easier to use but I think nitro is getting much easier to run and use. The best thing about nitro is the long runtimes. I can get 20min with my Max ST. I think electric is getting a little better with those new 3000mah batteries. Nitro is fast and funnier to drive than electric but I think if you upgrade your electric truck enough you can easily pass some of the best nitro's out there. All you would have to do is put in a 7cell matched battery pack and a 9 turn motor. Of course doing this will decrease your runtimes. But if you want to get into R/C drag racing the best way to go is with electric because that's what most drag racers run. They run electric because they can make them as fast as they want with adding more batteries and going with lower turn motor's. One dragster I saw can go 200+ mph!!! I saw it in R/C car action, it looked awesome. I think nitro is a step up from electric and if you have been running electric for 4 years and you want something new get a nitro car or truck. If you want something easier to use or just want some low end speed and a lot of torque get an electric. These are only my opinions and I think it's your decision to what kind to get. So there is no real answer to the question but I can tell you that there are pro's and con's to both.
