The Pissed Section, a place to express Blink182 related strife, anger, and upset, or maybe just an excuse to use those nuclear blast animations. Either way, here it is.

Before we start, I realise this section is a little over doing it. So really, you don't have to point that out to me. We're just having a little fun and maybe learning something at the same time. Okay, with that said here we go.

Everybody gets pissed off now and then. It's just a fact. Really it's no wonder, considering the world we live in. Just chock full of dumb fucks looking to pick a fight over whatever gets you going. But nevermind the big picture, just one of the things that makes me angry are people who talk shit about Blink182. Maybe you can relate, or maybe not. But if someone's stupid Blink182 related opinions don't put you on the defensive, maybe you should question your loyalty, or just go find another page.

Sellouts?
Entry #1 - Well, I've started the section. Now I have to ask myself, "What do I hate hearing people say about Blink182?" I'd say the very first thing that comes to mind would definitely be when someone says "Blink182 are sellouts." This sort of comment usually comes from someone who is eighther uneducated or just envious that their favorite band isn't even talented enough to get the chance to be what they label as "sellouts". There are many different ways to look at this topic, but lets just see it as follows. Blink182 is a good band. If their music, humour, and attitude weren't something that millions of people found interesting or appealing, than they wouldn't be in the position to make the money that they do. Is that just not straight fucking forward enough for you people who would actually say something like that? Do you really think that there are record companies out there phoning up Joe Blow who's playing in his garage to come on down to the studio for a multi-million dollar recording contract?! Hmmm... NO. Oh, but apparently that makes Joe Blow pretty cool. Sounds like the peak of stupidity huh? But wait, there's more. Now let's say Joe Blow gets lucky and starts making a lot of money, is often on the radio, and has his music videos played on the top 40 every Saturday. What does this all add up to? Well, he's become... ohmigod, I'm going to say it... successful. What will you do now? Hate him because he's become so good at what he does that people other than yourself have actually noticed his talent? No, you wouldn't (unless you're on crack). Maybe if people would think a little before they opened their mouths, they'd realise just how stupid they actually sound. Another point, Blink182 didn't just get lucky. They've been around since the early 90's, and have worked very hard to get to where they stand today. I think their ability to change and improve their work is part of what makes them so great. So, Blink182 are not "sellouts", they just have generally absorbing appeal... which is far more than I can say for most of the shit we pass off as music these days.

Not Worth Repeating
Entry #2 - Okay, usually I wouldn't even waste my time with a comment as peverse as the one which will follow, but I just couldn't let this one go. "Blink182 doesn't write their own songs". I practically made myself sick laughing at this guy. And even after the lecture I gave him, he still persisted to tell me this. Anyhow, although the whole idea is exceptionally ridiculas, and my sadly un-informed acquaintance has obviously smoked himself retarded, I really feel as though I should prove to you that this accusation is a load of bull. Where to start? First off, if Blink182 didn't write their songs, then who did? I didn't, did you? Maybe it was Mark's mom? No, it's much more likely that they were assisted by Christina Aguilera, I bet she wrote "What's My Age Again?" ("Hey Tom, like, why don't we like, put something in there about sodomy? You know, like, anal intercourse? That could like totally score some laughs, like, for sure or whatever."). Do I really need to continue? Okay, "Apple Shampoo" got its title because it's about one of Mark's ex-girlfriends, her hair always smelled like apple shampoo. "A New Hope" is all about Star Wars, Blink182 likes Star Wars (...I'm not sure if Christina Aguilera does though). Who else would name their songs like Blink182 does? "Dick Lips", "Toast And Bananas", "Does My Breath Smell?", "Dysentery Gary", "My Pet Sally" ... ya, sounds like Blink182 is getting a little help from the the same people who write *NSYNC's lyrics (who would have known?!). Another crucial point, "Adam's Song" was a song Mark wrote about being lonely while on tour (no, it's not really about suicide, despite what "concerned children's advertisers" have to say about it), and I'm pretty sure that Mark is a member of Blink182 (this should be called the Sarcasim Section, not the Pissed Section). Another, "Aliens Exist". Tom has this thing about aliens and paranormal stuff, so it's unlikely that the idea was stolen from SClub7 (and besides, they're way too busy in Miami to be writing songs about actual subjects anyhow). This really is dragging on isn't it? So, in conclusion, "shit-for-brains" doesn't know what he's talking about, and Blink182 most certainly writes their own music and lyrics. They may also dress themselves in the morning, but I can't prove it...

There Should Be Laws Against Saying Stuff This Stupid!
Entry #3 - Hmmm, here we are again... another Pissed entry. Today's subject is based on over opinionated people and a portion of Blink182's humour. It's sure to be very trite and shitty, have fun. Some people think they're always right, like as though their word is God's gift to the world. They'll offer (or force) their opinion on anything, whether you really care about what they think or not. I think this breed just likes to listen to the sound of their own voice... but who really knows? Anyhow, while talking about Blink182 with a friend, someone decided to swivel 'round on their stupid chair and offer the idea that "Weezer is so much better than Blink182." For those who don't know (and I'd understand completley if that's the case), Weezer is another band. Well that's great, I'm so glad to know that Weezer is better, 'cause now I can scrap this site and dedicate a brand new one to Weezer's wonderous splender. Hahahaha, yeah right! By the way, I actually do own a Weezer album, and it's not half bad, they're just the unfortunate example that's going to be used 'cause "Weezer guy" went and mouthed off. Anyhow, even if they are good, I don't think they're better than Blink182. But see, the difference is I'm not going to go around telling everyone I think that! If you want to make judgement on something, write a book or put it on a website so anyone who's interested can read about it. That's what I do. My personal opinion: Blink182 are way better than Weezer. Oh, and I actually have reasons too (how revolutionary!), 'cause I don't expect anyone to take my word as God's little gift to the world. The facts: Weezer hasn't come out with a new CD in years, Blink182's latest is due next week. I don't even know if they're still alive... do they tour anymore? Been to your city lately? No? Hmmmmm. I could tell you about their lame videos, and their CD cover, and that their last CD is always $7.99 Canadian (about $5.50 U.S.), so you could pick up your very own copy at a store near you with the change you found between the couch cusions, but I'll just stop there. So really, without even a Goddamn personal opinion involved, Blink182's history and positive attribute's seem to make them a hell of a lot better. Aww geez, this is getting long. But, I still have another point to ponder. "Weezer guy" went even further and told me that "Blink182 are stupid because all their songs make fun of other people". Ugh... why do I even waste my time? Nevermind, here's the obvious: Some of Blink182's humour includes the "making fun" of other bands, or pop groups. But it's not all the songs, it's not even one of them for Christsakes! The "All The Small Things" video pokes a little fun at "pop sensations" (puke now or later) such as *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, and Brittney Spears, but how the hell does one video account for the lyrics of that song, and that of the other 50 or so songs that Blink182 have written!? It doesn't! It just doesn't make ANY sense at all! Okay, that's enough obvious shit for today, I can't stand having to prove that 1 + 1 equals 2 anymore! *sigh* Please, for the sake of others, think before you open your mouth.
