Commercial

Overview

The team commercial was a team event set up to get the teams away from the competition setting for a few minutes. Teams were asked to make a commercial advertising either the City Pools, Lifeguard Competition, Recreation Swim Team, Diving Team, Aquacise, Learn to Swim, and other topics related to aquatics. Teams were asked to be very creative and the commercial was supposed to be 3-5 minutes. Teams were graded on Theme, Clarity, Professionalism, and Creativity. In the end, all the teams were very creative and did a very great job.

Scoring

Teams were scored on the theme, clarity, professionalism, and creativity. Our goal was to let them have fun with this, but still remain professional. A maximum of 28 points could be achieved. Times were evaluated and the team with the top time received 30 points, the second place team received 25 points and the third place team received 15 points. All other teams received 10 participation point.
