Passive Victim

Overview

The passive victim part of the competition tested the lifeguard's ability to perform a passive victim rescue all the way until the primary survey was completed. One lifeguard was a victim while the other three were lifeguards. One of the three lifeguards had to perform the rescue while the other two pulled out the victim and performed a primary survey

Scoring

The lifeguards were scored based off of a time. When the event started, the judge would start the time clock. If the team would make a mistake, than they would receive penalty points for the error.

Times were evaluated and the team with the top time received 30 points, the second place team received 25 points and the third place team received 15 points. All other teams received 10 participation point.

The following were the top three teams:

1st Place: Roanoke
