Welcome to A Word With June

This wonderful site will take you into the poetry and life of June Wilson. Through her writing you will learn about her life and meet her family. You will learn how she survived the death of her only child Gary, who suffered from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and died at age 17, how she recovered from a broken marriage, and went on to find love with her new husband and family. If you have lived, or loved, or aged, you will relate and may even grow. You will see how June came to the realization that everything in life, good or bad, happens for a reason. You will feel her strength and will be comforted knowing you are not alone in your trials.

You will laugh with June as she describes the aging process that she has come to feel comfortable with and share the humour with which she describes her journey through menopause, wrinkles, weight gain, and turning 60.

You will shed tears of sadness and laughter on this journey, and will wish to return again and again. Welcome to A Word With June.
