SHATTERED EGO

Oh my shattered ego

My bruised and battered pride

The feeling of rejection going on inside

I look at my reflection

Sick of what I see

How weak I was to let him

Do this thing to me

ME AGAINST THE WORLD

Me against the world

That's the way it seems to be

Call it fate or destiny

All alone and ever free

Me against the world

Talking to myself

Telling me that I don't care

Knowing that there's no one there

The situation isn't rare

Talking to myself

You wanted this you silly fool

Drowning in your crying pool

For this you've broken every rule

The choice was yours you know?

The party didn't last too long

I tried to warn you all along

Now you know that you were wrong

We harvest what we sow
