| The Side Liner They didn't like the fact the big ones had larger homes...the facts: the littlest ones were no larger then 2 feet 3 inches...the big ones were no smaller then 8 feet 4 inches. So how do you make the smaller ones understand... |
One certain small one had a very large personality...he
could make the sad smile, the happy cry, the confused to see...it did not matter if they
were big or small. He used to say, "It's the mind that counts...and all beings
have the same size mind and the same size dreams...adjusted of course, for the size of
themselves..." This statement seemed very wise to every one, who thought about
it...It seemed to say...that we are all much the same on the inside...brothers and
sisters, all...one people..one land. So when the problem with the Small vs. the Big
came about...I suggested we go and get Large Small Guy. Guy was very busy settling certain disputes for other communities...but we pointed out.."this is your community...shouldn't you help us first..." We were given an answer that made us very afraid, "No...I believe I will help these bigs and littles...they have a much more interesting problem...it involves..." We left, even as the man was speaking, "What will we do now...where do we turn...surely this could become very bad...violence and terrible...." my friend drifted off...terrible what...we had nothing to compare with...but there was the word...and it seemed to fit. What would we do now? |
