When I asked the first of the Bigs to come in and explain
the situation as he knew it....he told me,
"mutter...mutter...we...er...mutter...not...I don't...mutter...mutter..." Well, that didn't help, so I called in the leader of the Smalls group...Mr. Smallerest. "Well Mr. Smallerest, it seems it has fallen to me, to help settle this dispute. It's my families turn to govern, and they are all off on vacation...I am the one left behind..." "Oh," said the small, "Where did your folks go..." I sighed, "Somewhere that is certainly not here...I assure you, if they were here...they would be here now!" Mr. Smallerest certainly agreed that they would...they were extremely nice folks...never causing him any problems that he knew of...and when Mr. Smallerest left...I realized I had forgotten to ask him what had started all of this "you have more then me...thing".... |
