003 [1.03-94] Skin and Bones / Dakota Dancer

    Jess tries to hit on Dakota Dancer, a student and known painter, to
    draw her instead of Enid for a painting to be presented nationally.
    And to get Enid to resign she tells her that he wants to paint her
    nude. When Jess finds out that this - sort of - was what Dakota really
    had in mind it's too late and she finds herself scorned by her friends.
    Liz learns a lesson in First Amendment rights.

004 [1.04-94] Critical Mess / Die Theaterkritik

    Bruce's uncle, a famous director, shoots in town. This offers a chance
    Jess doesn't want to miss - she wants a part. The premiere of Macbeth,
    in which she plays the female lead, and the following review (plus a
    mean attitude) should get her a role. Unfortunately, she overdoes Lady
    Macbeth and the review - written by her sister - is accordingly. Now she
    blames Liz for not getting a part - and even worse - that Lila's got one.

005 [1.05-94] What, Me Study? / Schulverweis

    Jess is on the edge of failing in chemistry - everything else than an
    A in the upcoming test would mean a 'no go'. There it comes in handy
    that Winston hacked into Mr. Russo's computer. A tricky Jess knows how
    to get hold of the password and copy the test. No wonder, Jess scores
    an A+ - unfortunately, Mr. Russo knows that someone stole the test and
    Jess is now his prime suspect ...

006 [1.06-94] Almost Married / Die Ueberraschungsparty

    With the parents out of the house for the weekend Todd spends the
    weekend at Liz's (instead of going to his cousin's place out of
    town as originally planned). Todd over the weekend? - That's an
    opportunity for Jess to blackmail her sister into allowing her to
    throw a party.

    On Halloween the clan goes to school to get in contact with Larry

    Prince Arthur Castillio visits Sweet Valley and his pen pal Elizabeth.
    Jess and Arthur get close and after an afternoon together - without
    bodyguards - Jess is hit by Cupid's arrow and dreams of becoming the
    Princess of Santa Dora ... unaware that Arthur is already engaged.

    After a boy-crazy Jess left Liz at the hangout Liz is forced to
    go with Todd on his bike back to school. On their way they have
    an accident leaving behind Liz in a coma. After some days on the
    edge she wakes up totally changed - she's more 'Jess' now ...

    Liz writes a 'James Bond'-esque agent story, where the females are the
    strong characters.

011 [1.11-94] Secrets / Das grosse Geheimnis

    Enid is chosen to speak at an anti-drug campaign and subsequently
    go on tour - at the side of Aerosmith's Steven Tyler. Steven Tyler?
    That's something for Jess. And Enid's confession to Liz that she
    once had a drug problem (and that's the reason why she transferred
    to Sweet Valley) comes in handy for eavesdropping Jess who sees this
    as her big chance.

012 [1.12-94] Photographic Evidence / Fotografen-Glueck

    At a shooting session at the lake Liz by chance catches some guys
    on photo - one of them she seems to know. The others aren't very
    pleased to be photographed. Later in the news she finds out that the
    one she knows is Roland Hunter who was about to testify against the
    mob but has disapeared. In the meantime Jess has (again) caught fire
    not knowing that her flame is after Liz and the photo ... and wouldn't
    stop at nothing to get it.

013 [1.13-94] Club X / Club X

    The dreaded Club X - which plays pranks and fools others - has found
    a victim again: the principal Mr. Cooper. An impressed Jess wants to
    join the club - this club should give her the kick needed. The club
    not only plays pranks to outsiders but also uses unfair tactics inside
    the club. Can Jess handle this? - You bet! Todd tries to earn money by
    playing basketball.

014 [1.14-94] Poetic Injustice / Jessica und die Dichtkunst

    Some of the clan have fallen for their teacher Adam Buchman's poetry
    and attend a reading of his work. A reluctant Jessica joins them but
    she soon also joins the poetry club to impress him.

015 [1.15-94] Stolen Diary / Ein Tagebuch in falschen Haenden

    Left out of Liz's life - who prefers to spend her time with Todd -
    Jess sets up a plan to seperate them: she tells Peggy that Todd is
    available, who subsequently kisses Todd, Liz catches them and, voila,
    troubles in paradise. So far so good. Then Jess arranges a date with
    Chris for Liz. She goes out with him and dumps him shorty after. But
    Chris accidentally gets hold of Liz diary and uses it against her by
    telling around secrets - resulting in a clan gone mad at Liz ...

016 [1.16-95] Love On The Line / Kontakt per Telefon

    At the hotline - where she's helping - Enid meets Mike. Since she is
    such a big help, Mike also wants to meet her in person. Enid doesn't
    know much about him - only that he's Bridgewater's quarterback and a
    lot of girls have the hots for him. Happy at first, but then anxiously
    and reluctantly ('Am I pretty enough for him?') she goes there only to
    back off in the last second. She then asks Jess for help who without
    further ado snatches away the guy. Winston's family is hosting an
    exchange student from Japan and Winston is eager to show him how cool
    he is - instead Winston finds himself in the 'student' position.

017 [1.17-95] Working Girl / Modeschoepfer und Intrigen

    Jess is chosen to be a model for the famous designer Dante only to
    find out that she has to start from the scratch - by getting coffee.
    Nevertheless this is a chance for her get into the biz and she comes
    up with the design of a jacket - which Dante steals. Liz and Todd get
    an internship with the Sweet Valley Tribune. Lila's dad forces her
    to work in the Cafe so she learns what work is really like. There in
    the Cafe she then meets a delivery man with whom she hits it off -
    but let him believe that she is just a waitress.

018 [1.18-95] Dancing Fools / Wettbewerb der Freestyle-Taenzer

    The annual Pacific Freestyle Dance is coming up and Jess - winner
    of the last two years - and Lila are eager to win. After all, a
    top choreographer is in the audience and the winner will be on
    her show. The key to Jess's success the last years was her partner
    who dumps her this time. And now Jess desperately needs to find a
    new partner since Lila's dad flew in a top dancer for her.

019 [1.19-95] Kidnapped (1) / Die Entfuehrung (1)

    Jeremy Frakes, a famous talk-show host, landed in hospital after an
    accident. After Liz, who works there voluntarily, tells about this -
    and with the fact that Frakes' seeks a new assistant - Jess' mission
    is clear: To become his new assistant. Winston's mom has birthday and
    Liz helps Winston to bake a cake for her. In the course of this they
    get along well, too well for Todd. So it's not a far cry for him to
    suspect Winston to be the one sending Liz flowers and letters.

020 [1.20-95] Kidnapped (2) / Die Entfuehrung (2)

    Liz is kidnapped while the others are on a party. When Liz doesn't
    show up at the party or at Winston's, first Todd then the others
    realize that something is wrong - after not finding her anywhere
    it's clear ... she was kidnapped. Winston, searching for her, gets
    caught in her car and the police arrests him, adding more doubts
    to Todd that it could indeed be Winston.

021 [1.21-95] Kidnapped (3) / Die Entfuehrung (3)

    After her horrible experience Liz guests in Frakes' talk show. While
    on air breaking news arrive: Peter could escape custody. Two agents
    are assigned to protect the girls. After two weeks there's still no
    sign of Peter and Jess really suffers under the agents' watchful eyes.
    She tries to escape them ... which succeeds, only to run into Peter's
    hands and a nightmare. After Peter realizes that he hasn't gotten
    Liz, he ties her up next to explosives to go out and meet his real
    love: Liz.

022 [1.22-95] Say Goodbye / Abschied auf Zeit

    Against all odds Todd is accepted by a school - who wants him to play
    in their basketball team - in Vermont. Leaving his friends, his home
    is hard but leaving Liz is harder. Same for Liz who can't imagine a
    time without Todd. And it also doesn't help when on his last days
    they can't find any time together - a fight follows. After two weeks
    with Todd in Vermont Liz agrees to go out again - with Nick - which
    scheming Jess knows how to use for her purposes.
