Hector, Carlos' nephew, is framed for robbery when - after the shop
owner fired and refused to pay him - he simply takes the money he has
earned. He is sent to prison on false charges but with Carlos and
Walker on the case it will be a short term. However, in prison fate
is awaiting him again when an inmate asks him for help against the
drug-trafficking guards. Before that inmate is killed he hands him
over a booklet proving what's going on. And with the booklet Hector
has the guards on his heel, too. Alex, supported by Walker, founds
H.O.P.E. - an institution to 'Help Our People Excel'.

After an undercover agent is killed during a bank-robbery and the
Ranger learn of the situation, Trivette continues the undercover job
to complete it. The robbers are led by Garrett Stone, a man Walker
busted years ago, although he's not the boss. Several small-cap
robberies follow which suggest that something big is coming: The heist
of crown jewels arriving in Dallas. The first big case for H.O.P.E. is
to help a friend, whose son toys with the thought of joining a gang.
Carlos, as 'big brother', tries to divert him from the path he's going.

A polluted river in the reservation causes ill and even dead kids.
Walker joins Chief Coyote to track down the culprits, apparently a
factory owner who uses the river as a dump. When another kid dies,
Frank and Billy Iron Hand take a vigilante stand, making Walker
and Coyote's situation even harder. The tricky part is that there
are no evidence against the owner, even tests by the Environmental
Protection Agency are negative.

The Rangers investigate the kidnapping of several kids, one of them
Trent's student. At the scenes of the crime a pentagram painted on the
floor or wall is left behind, giving Walker and Trivette at least a
clue - a clue which says a lot to Cassandra, the owner of an occult
book store. With her help the Rangers get on the right trail, and not
one minute to soon - also Alex got kidnapped and the Rangers have only
a few hours to go until the satanic cult sacrifice its victims on
Halloween at midnight.

A camping trip to Utah turns into a nightmare, especially for Alex
who is kidnapped by the infamous troublemakers, the Trammel brothers.

since the brothers know the one or other way to get rid of their
pursuers. And the traps work: one of them injures Trivette seriously.
