Wednesday, November 17 (continued)

We walked down the stairs to Westminster pier and bought tickets to cruise to the Tower of London. There was a commentary with the cruise and they told us the history of the buildings along the banks. We docked at the Tower and found a pub right across from the entrance to the Tower. Bad choice of pubs this time. Everyone except me had the fish and chips, and the fish with black skin was something called Place. Not only was the fish bad, but their soda tap wasn’t working and we didn’t have anything to drink with the meal. When we complained about the food, they offered a free dessert - as if any of us wanted any more food from them. They ended up subtracting one entree from our bill instead.
