"Sundays are HEATING up"

Updated: October 25, 1998

The following Sunday Night Heat report was written by Joe de Leon.

WWF Sunday Night Heat Report for October 25, 1998
Hosted by Jim Cornette and Micheal Cole
Taped from Madison, Wisconsin

• Christian (w/ Gangrel) defeated Brian Christopher with a backwards DDT.
- Christian and Christopher put up a entertaining fight, lots of high risk moves. Christopher went for his finisher off the top rope, but missed and Christian took advantage of the situation and did some really awesome move, looked liked a backwards DDT type move, and got the win to retain his WWF Lightheavyweight title.

• Micheal Cole interviewed The Insane Clown Posse backstage.
- Insane Clown Posse, just talked for a little bit about Kaianti, only lasted about 1 minute, I couldn't really understand what they were saying.

• Jeff Jarrett (w/ Debra McMicheal) defeated Golga (w/ Oddities & Insane Clown Posse) with a Forward Legsweep .
- Before the match the ref sent the Oddities and Insane Clown Posse back to the dresser room. Golga nailed Jarrett with a powerslam, but Debra threw in the Cartman doll, Golga caught it and just looked at it and Jarrett took advantage and came from behind and landed the Forward Legsweep to get the win.

• The Headbangers defeated The Disciples of Apocalypse (w/ Paul Ellering) via Pinfall.
- Before the match Micheal Cole interviewd the Headbangers, the Headbangers talked about that they will beat DOA. Cole refered to the Headbangers as the Tag Champs during the pre-match interview. The Headbangers came out and did their New Age Outlaws mockering, saying there the new tag team champs, like they have been doing the past few weeks. Tough, physical match, went back and fourth several times in the match. DOA did a switch, but Mosh threw the legal DOA member in the ring, and Thrasher threw the illegal DOA member out, and Thrasher rolled the legal DOA member up to take the victory.

• Motley Crue performed one of their songs with an introduction from Jesse James. Their performace was in video format. Micheal Cole mentioned that Motley Crue will sing a song on Raw this monday as well.

• Showed clips from last week on Raw from the Steve Austin - McMahon deal.

• Vince McMahon called in, and said that the public shouldn't be concearned about his public affairs. McMahon said that the fans of the WWF and Micheal Cole and Jim Cornette can all go to HELL, and the phone interview is over.

• Scorpio was scheduled to be in action, but before he made his way down to ringside, Blue Blazer attacked him from behind and applied the Dragon Sleeper, (The move Dan Severn always uses.) Chants of Blue Nugget started as The Blue Blazer ran away.

• Kevin Kelly interviewed D-Lo Brown and Ken Shamrock backstage.
- D-lo and Shamrock talked about the match against Mankind and X-Pac.

• Ken Shamrock and D-Lo Brown defeated Mankind and X-Pac.
- Before the match Kevin Kelly interviewed X-Pac and Mankind backstage, X-Pac said he dosen't know how the heck he got in a tag match with Mankind, and Socko smells. Mankind took offense to it, but said he has one word for Shamrock and D-lo "Socko". Great match, D-lo went for the Lo down on X-pac but missed. X-pac tagged in Mankind, Shamrock applied the Ankle Lock on Mankind, but X-pac broke it up. X-pac and D-Lo fought outside the ring. Mankind applied the Mandible Claw, but Shamrock fell on top of Mankind and pinned Mankind to get the victory.
