This game was never released in North America, because Square of Japan thought that North American gamers were too "immature" to handle a game such as this. They were in fact wrong. This game is one of the best i've seen, and the story is quite good. You begin as the hero, Butz, witnessing a meteor crash to the ground. You then see the princess, Lenna, and an old man named Galuf, and begin a quest to save the wind, water, earth and fire crystals from shattering, cuz if this happens, it's game over for the planet. The graphics for this game are quite good, considering when it was published, and all of the in battle sprites are very well done. And if you wanna talk about the remake, them all of the CG characters are very well done, as you will see in the Image section. The music in here is very well done, with the boss battle music setting the mood perfectly, like the inpending doom that it is when you fight a boss.
