My son's room is actually one of the neatest bedrooms in the house. He does need to work on keeping it neater though.

DS12 finally broke down and worked in his room. He confessed that he liked it much better now.

He still has work to do in here, but it is so much better. I'll have to work on teaching him how to make

his bed a little better.

His window alcove/computer area.

(This computer monitor quit working a year ago. I need to decide what to do. I guess I should try to find a used monitor so he can use this again.)

This is another window alcove in his room. This one houses his TV, video games, bean bag and other misc. items. I'm sure he could straighten this up quickly.

I think he did some quick hiding of junk, but I won't complain,

I'll just have him work on a few areas at a time.

This is his dresser area. Most of what you see are his clean clothes that were never put away. I still do his laundry but he is responsible (or not!) for putting it away.

The closet in this picture is one that I turned into a library on a decluttering spree I do in December. I'll have to go back in there and get that back in order too! As you can see in the picture below, someone has been dumping junk in there.

Poor kid, one of the problems with his room is that he has four closets and only one of them is his. The other three closets are for storage. This closet was turned into a library (it is one with the back wall angling all the way in to the front wall -- no ceiling). I used the boards form a water bed I was going to get rid of. Now I need to throw away the rest of the water bed!

DD12 also cleaned out the library closet in his room.

Most of the junk that was in here was stuff he dumped here.

that I plan on donating to our new public library (if they want them).

This closet is his. The back wall angles in all the way to the front wall, no ceiling.

I will have him work in here soon, this really shouldn't take long to clean up.

I rearranged the clothes in DS12's closet and he cleaned it out.

This is a closet in his room which is used for old clothes and costumes for stage and holloween. He hates this closet because it tends to explode into his room on a regular basis! There is a lot to get rid of here, maybe soon.

Yet another closet in my son's room. It is so pasked full of junk that you can not even get in there. So much to do, so little time! It's difficult to see in the picture, but like so many of the upstairs closets, the back wall angles in to the front wall (there is no ceiling) so shelves in this closet are basically out of the question.

Down the wall to the left are boxes of canning jars

and Christmas decorations.

Only some old weights across the back.
