Some cabinets have already been worked on a little
(sometimes I just can't stand it anymore!)
This cabinet hides the trash can. I like it a lot better here
than out in the kitchen where it used to be.
The box above it is where I have always kept the
girls hair bows, barretts, bands etc. This needs to be cleaned out
and all things that aren't thrown away should go to the girls' rooms now,
since I don't fix their hair for them anymore (which I used to do hurriedly on school
mornings while they were eating their breakfast)

DD10 went thru the hairbox for me. Most was thrown away and none of it was returned to the kitchen.
Since I didn't have any empty tissue boxes, I have poked a bunch of the plastic bags
in the empty cola box behind the trash bags, some of the plastic grocery bags
have gone to the bathrooms for the trash cans, the rest have been thrown away.
Well, mostly this is plastic grocery bags.

Now that all the plastic grocery bags are out of here, I was able to
put the things that were really messing up another cabinet in here.
This was cleaned up about one week before I discovered
declutterer's journal.

It may not look much different, but I actually did throw away
a lot of stuff here.

(I even washed the fridg., including the top!)
I only left two things on top, one tall vase full of pens, pencils and markers
and one tin for crayons (we only kept the ones that weren't broken.)
I also vacuumed underneath and cleaned the grill and attached it properly.
(for all you eagle eyed voyuers, yes there is a little clutter
still left on the counter, but that's the only place. I'll take care of that soon.
Might as well reveal the inside of my fridg. too.
