update 6/14
This isn't much, but as I went through the house dusting this morning,
I decided to just do a little with the top of this dresser.
At least it's not quite so embarrassing now.
I still have much decluttering to do in here, but it's slowly getting better.

DD16 finally got her floor cleaned up enough to vacuum!

It's getting much better, and she is still working on it a little each day.

In the last week we have taken 8 large bags of clothes, blankets and sheets,
hundreds of Reader's Digest and Life magazines and a lamp to the Goodwill.
We have also hauled out so many bags of trash it's just not even funny.
I know we still have much more to haul out, and we will!
In the past, when I had gotten the house to this point, I stopped.
This time, I know that I must keep going and continue to do at least a little each day
and continue to work on all the little everyday jobs EVERY DAY.
Slowly, I feel like I am regaining control over my house.
My children seem to be learning new habits and are picking up
and cleaning up after themselves more.
This seems to be becoming a way of life,
rather than "mom going crazy cleaning again."
