Ravine Overview

This is a very good multiplayer map that is well balanced and has a unique design. One of the best parts of Ravine is the large roomy hallways. There are many crazy strategies that you can use in this level. All this makes Ravine one of the easiest levels to learn yet one of the most difficult to master. To get the most out of this level use a good mix of explosives and automatic weapons!

Points Of Interest:

A Hallways just like this in Ravine connect to several large rooms which lead up to really intense corridor battles. A good strategy for those intense battles is to circle strafe as much as you can and watch other peoples screens. If you want to be cheap and get a player off your back you can call out their position to other players!

B This is one of the best sniping points on the map. It overlooks the previous point out (A). You get quick and easy access to both the slot four weapons and the slot six weapon is only two rooms away. This room can also be used for camping if you've got some skill!

C There are a lot of battles in this hallway. The platform leads down to the large ramp on the right side of them map.

D This Sniping Pipe is a nice secret area where you can just sit and kill. It's all good, that is, until you're spotted...

E Be aware of this deadly elevator as it is the target for many evil attacks. Some people like setting up Sentry Turrets, while other enjoy planting mines on it. Some just like to camp the top platform and wait for unsuspecting players to jump on from below!

F This long skinny pathway is a good place for cornering your enemies. There usually aren't many people here so this shouldn't be the first place on your list for easy kills. If you get trapped yourself, try using the "Strafe, Fake, & Attack" strategy.

G This is the central hub of Ravine. Every player always ends up going through this place at some time or another. This might be a good spot for camping, as long as you have an escape route handy!

H This is another good large room that can be used for sniping or camping. There are no weapons nearby, but it's still a good place to control.

I This is another angle of the same room (above). This one is looking down over the lower floor.

F Here is a useless place that you DON'T want to be at. There is no use at all to go on this place (unless you're just goofing around) and one or two bullets can easily knock you off to your death. It's also pretty easy to fall off yourself, so just stay away from it!

Special Level Strategy: In a standard game of combat, a good strategy is to control the large area with the ramp. The reason for this is because there are lots of weapons (slot 2 and slot 5) nearby and there are plenty of nearby player re-spawn points! That means that you can kill enemies before they even get a weapon! The easiest way of controlling this area is to just keep the weapons out of the other players hands by creating a loop around the full place.
