MARKERS / CAMERAS

The infamous tunnel camera - Indika 3 Markers (or cameras) are an invaluable tool that all pilots should use! In a 1 vs 1 match they are frowned upon - but to hell with that! Anything that can increase your awareness and kill ratio is acceptable (except type killing and spawn killing!). Place a marker with the F12 key and name it with a letter or number. The view can be seen by cycling the rearview windows, with either SHIFT F1 or SHIFT F2.

SAFE SIDE

Remember, the view is the same from the camera as it was from your ship when you laid it. Other pilots may block your camera with another camera! This can turn into quite a game - to see who can get the best views while blocking the views of others!

SUICIDE
MARKER: SUICIDE

Laying markers generally increases lag a little, and for this reason you may wish to put only one marker down. If you have laid both and want to move them, the third replaces the first etc. If you are disconnected from a game, your markers go with you. While laying a camera you are vulnerable to attack. Practice laying them as quickly as possible.

Most of all though: Don't forget that other people can see you with their cameras! It constantly amazes me how people can sit in front of my camera and think they can outsmart me!
