10/07/99 - As always I'm about a week late with the update cuz, unfortunately, I'm still having trouble getting my books from the retailer in time.  I added the cover and spoilers to issue 7.   You just have to love this book.

09/28/99 - We can look forward to a Planetary/Authority crossover by Warren Ellis & Oscar Jimenez.  48 pages of pure Ellis to be released early next year.

09/09/99 - I have word on the new creative team for The Authority.  Taking over the reigns from the current crew will be UK writer, Mark Millar (Adventures of Superman) and penciller, Frank Quitely (Offspring).  I'm not familiar with either of their work so I'll see what I can do about getting us some samples.   Positive news is that the 4 issue arc will remain a feature of the title.   Negative news is that Ellis is planning to go out with a bang.  That, as all Stormwatch readers know, means that someobody, or everybody, dies.

08/14/99 - I just finished updating 6 and adding all the elements.    Another first rate issue.   It's sad though that this title will ultimately change hands and, eventually, lose the magic that makes this saga so incredibly gripping.   There is no doubt that Ellis is the best writer in comics today so I would have trouble seeing the book continue at its current pace under new management.

08/14/99 - My apologies for not updating the site sooner.  My retailer was out of town for a gaming con and I only got issue #5 this morning.  What a book!  Totally worth the wait.   Look out for a MAJOR site redesign in the coming weeks.  I'm finishing a huge links site at the moment so I just don't have time.

08/13/99 - Want me to ruin your whole day?   Warren Ellis and the rest of The Authority team will be leaving the book as of issue 12.   I suppose a little creator continuity is a little too much to ask for these days.   Shocking!    Press Release

07/06/99 - After days of work, this site is finally ready for general consumption.   I still have a lot of work to do and many of the area's will be changing considerably as the weeks go by.  I hope you will all bear with me as I raise this little bugger.  No news on The Authority today but I did grab the covers for issues   7, and 9 from Warren Ellis.COM...
